About 90s Video Games

90s Video Games is an independent guide to the video games of 1990 to 1999: the consoles, the PC classics, the handhelds, the educational games, and the "what was that game called?" questions that still come up today.

What you'll find here

The site has 100 guides across 10 sections: PC Games, Educational Games, Nintendo Games, Sega Games, PlayStation Games, Game Guides, Handheld Games, Play Today, Buying Guides & Reviews, and Gaming History. The Play Today section covers legal ways to play these games on modern hardware.

How we research

Release dates, platforms, and other facts are checked against dated sources before they're published, and each article lists where its facts came from. We don't make up review scores, prices, statistics, or hands-on testing. Original releases, ports, remasters, and modern reissues are labeled separately so it's clear which one is being discussed.

Who runs the site

90s Video Games is written and run by Dave Harrison, a gamer who built the site out of a love for this era of games.
